Austin businessman and Network Marketing guru Steve Smith has combined online dating and network marketing with the launch of Ultimatematch.com
Originally launched in November of 2003 with founder Cameron Sharpe the company has undergone several compensation plan enhancements and has partnered with The Relationship Exchange. Sharpe has left the company to pursue other interest, but Steve Smith has assembled a top notch management team to lead the company in what he hopes will be his biggest venture since the launch of Excel Telecom.
According to a May 2004 news release in the Austin Business Journal Smith Invested $3.5 million to purchase Soulmate.com which at the time had 15 employees
According to the company's site online dating is the fastest growing industry on the Internet, and 1/2 of the adult population is now single!
